June 4, 2010,  Shaler Twp., PA – Guardian Angel Home Care Services, a non-medical in-home care agency providing quality compassionate care to seniors in Northern Allegheny County and surrounding communities, received perfect compliance scores (100%) from the Allegheny County Department of Human Services for the second year in a row. As part of an agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, allowing Guardian Angel Home Care Services to participate as a provider in the Waiver Program for seniors, they are subject to frequent audits and monitoring.  This rating reflects the highest level of dedication for service delivery and personnel training for Guardian Angel Home Care Services.

Both consumer and personnel records were reviewed for compliance with Aging Waiver Program Standards as set forth and outlined in the Pennsylvania Department of Aging home and Community Based Services Procedures Manuel.

Guardian Angel Home Care Services, Inc. is independently owned and was founded in 2001 by Stacey L. Perry, a Pittsburgh native who wanted to serve seniors in her community and assist them with their activities of daily living to allow them to remain living at home as long as possible.   When a little extra help is needed along the way to support activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, meal planning and preparation, escort to appointments or shopping, and much more, families reach for their personal Guardian Angel.  These types of supports can allow a loved one to remain living independently in the comfort of their home.
